Marjorie Quintrell

Mrs. Marjorie "PUG" Turner Quintrell, age 92 of McCaysville, Ga. Passed away on July 26, 2024 at the Union County Nursing Home, Blairsville, Ga. Pug was born Monday, February 22, 1932 in McCaysville, Ga. to the late Gaither Turner and the late Pearl Gray Turner.

Pug loved to sing.  She was a member of the Copper Basin Prime Time choir and a member of the Sanctuary Choir of the First Baptist Church of McCaysville (Ga) / Copperhill (Tenn).

Pug was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Quintrell, parents and all siblings.

Survivors include: Two Daughters; Amy (Bryan) Branson of Spokane, Washington and Julie (Terry) Arp of McCaysville, Ga., Granddaughters; LT. Colonel Abby Lanni (Steve) of Ft. Leavenworth, KS and Jennifer Branson of Corvallis, Oregon. Grandson, Timothy (Brittany) Branson of Ashburn, Virginia. Sister-In-Laws, Helen Quintrell and June Quintrell of Blue Ridge, Ga., Several Nieces and nephews.

A Private family graveside service was held Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Crestlawn Cemetery, McCaysville/Copperhill. Rev. Matthew McDaniel Officiated.
