Mrs. Marilyn Broderick, age 90, of Blairsville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 12, 2018.
Marilyn and William "Bill" Broderick were married in Michigan. They relocated to Miami, FL with daughters, Kathy and Katrina. There, third daughter, Robin and son, Kenneth, were added to the family. Marilyn dedicated herself to the role of wife, mother, grammy, great grammy and homemaker, also working with the Girl Scouts. Marilyn worked with the G.A.'s at Miami Shores Baptist Church and enjoyed being a member of the church choir. She had a wonderful vibrato soprano voice. It was a real treat for anyone to be near her when she sang God's praises. After moving to Blairsville, she and Bill joined First Baptist Church, where she continued serving the Lord. Her love and devotion for Bill, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren could never be doubted. Now she joins the love of her life and is singing in the most awesome choir ever, blessed and secure in our Savior's presence.
Mrs. Broderick will be deeply missed by her children; Kathy Karen Gales of Blairsville, GA, Katrina Annette Hourihan (George) of Summerville, FL, Robin Teresa DeYoung (Jack) of Blairsville, GA and Kenneth William Broderick (Susan) of Boone, NC.
