Margie Pauline Elliott King

Mrs. Margie Pauline Elliott King, age 83 of Blairsville, GA, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2007. Mrs. King was born Friday, April 11, 1924 in Hamilton Co., TN to the late George and Nora (Griggs) Elliott . A member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, She was preceded in death by husband, Vaughn King, son, James King and sister, Opal Lovell.

Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Hoyle and Patsy King of Blairsville, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Harold and Gloria King of Young Harris, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Vaughn and Marsha King of Blairsvillle, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Minnie and Welchel Garrett of Blairsville, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Christine and Roger Broome of Gillsville, GA, daughter, Linda May Beavers of Blue Ridge, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Martha and Paul Moss of Blairsville, GA, daughter, Pauline Bridges of Blairsville, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Carolyn and Tim McGaha of Blairsville, GA, sister & brother-in-law, Bonnie and Edwin Lovell, brother, Floyd Elliott, brother & sister-in-law, Frank and Essie Elliott, brother-in-law, Frank Lovell, fourteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Potts officiating. Music will be provided by Sarah Kelley and Sheila Eller. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Roger Garrett, Ronnie Garrett, Johnnie Garrett, Trance King, Terry King, Marty King. Honorary pallbearers include: Waylon Gibby, Rodney Broome, Jamie King, Josh Berry, Ryan Garrett, Zac Hazlip.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Friday, November 23.
