Margie Mae Davis

Margie Mae Davis, age 86, of McCaysville, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Pruitt Healthcare in Blue Ridge. Ms. Davis was born July 25, 1932, in McCaysville, GA to the late George Washington Davis and the late Mae Grantham Davis. She was a member of Williamstown United Methodist Church, enjoyed cooking, baking cakes, and spending time with family and friends. Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her father, George Washington Davis, mother, Mae Grantham Davis, sisters, Dorothy Sparkman, Jean Pickelsimer, Madeline Patterson, and Betty Grantham, brothers, Y.B. Davis, and Charles Grantham.

Survivors include a sister, Jeanette Dockery, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Sunday 2:00 PM, from the Finch Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Godfrey officiating. Interment will follow in Barns Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Finch Cochran Funeral Home Saturday evening from 5 PM till 8 PM.
