Margaret Viola Lewis

Our loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend Margaret Viola Guenther Lewis passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019.

She was loved by so many and will always be remembered by her contagious smile, beautiful heart, and her AMAZING banana bread.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Gerald Edwin Lewis, her mother and father and her siblings, and two of her beloved children.

She is survived by her sons, Alvin Lewis and daughter-in-law Debi Lewis, Robert Lewis and daughter-in-law Marlene Lewis, Donald Lewis and daughter-in-law Margaret Ann Lewis, and her beloved daughter Amy Lewis. Also survived by many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other friends and loved ones.

She adored this community and was proud to be an active member of the Copper Basin area. Everyone has such good memories with her. She was so proud of her family and loved to brag to the community about how much she loved each and every one of us. She never met a stranger and was so full of love and kindness that will never be forgotten.

She was a diligent servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his light continues to shine from her life's work.
When the family feels alone or sad about her passing, we are reminded that her faith was and always will be in the Lord, and she waits for us just over Jordan.

Funeral Service: Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Crestlawn Cemetery at 2: OO PM .Pallbearers: Stephen Lewis, Travis Geren, Seth Womble, Karl Cash, Justin Cross, and Jake Cross.Honorary Pallbearers: Jason Lewis, Logan Lewis, Preston Lewis, and Robert Wilson.
