Mandy Elleen Stiles

Mandy "Elleen" Stiles, 78, of Murphy went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 07, 2011 at Murphy Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a native of Cherokee County. She was the daughter of the late James Logan and Ella Dills Mashburn. A member of Household Of Faith Baptist Church of Murphy and was retired from Baker's Furniture Company in Andrews, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Stiles, three children; ;Charles, Janette & Kenneth Stiles, sister, Eula Mae Roberson, brother, Ernest Mashburn.

She is survived by sisters: Willie Allen, of Lafayett, Ga., Bonnnie Gilliam, Anna (Dewey) Garland, Roberta Hughes & Mary Panther all of Murphy; sister in law, Katherine Mashburn of Jasper, Ga., brothers, Raymond (Omie) Mashburn of Jasper, Ga., Richard (Linda) Mashburn of Murphy, Calvin Mashburn & Steve Mashburn also of Murphy; Tom Mashburn, Glenn (Joyce) Mashburn of Blue Ridge, Ga., daughter in law, Juanita Stiles of Murphy, grandchildren: Alyssa (Derek) Cheek, Kendra (Earl) Lovingood all of Murphy, Jeffery Stiles of Ga.; 4 great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Stiles will be on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 6:00-8:00pm in the Household of Faith Baptist Church located off Hwy. 60.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 2:00 in the Household of Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Zeb Henson & Rev. Kyle Cody officiating. Pallbearers for her service will be; Keith Mashburn, George Mashburn, Preston Mashburn, Derek Penland, Dan Hensley & Donnie Roberson. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Tim Allen, Larry Green, David Jones, Vern Moore, Casey Roberson, Stacey Roberson, Ronnie Roberson, Marvin Rose & Travis Roberson. Interment will follow at the Mount Carmel cemetery.
