Mahlon D. Knight

Mahlon D. Knight, age 87, of McCaysville, Georgia, was called home to be with the Lord on Christmas morning, December 25, 2020. Mahlon passed away peacefully at home. Mahlon was born in Walnut Grove, Georgia on August 12, 1933 to the late William Harry and Bessie Knight. He was a truck driver for 41 years owning and operating C&M Trucking for five years. Mahlon was a beloved husband, dad, and papa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.H. & Bessie along with sisters, Sybil, Francis, Berthalen, and a brother, William H.

Mahlon is survived by his wife of 41 years, Connie, daughter, Michele, and son-in-law, Mike Combs; grandchildren Courtney, Sean, Trey, and Samantha Combs.

Mahlon's wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered coast to coast. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him. His stories and memories of him will live on in all of us until the end of time. The family is planning a celebration of his life later this year.
