Mrs. Mae Hedden Berrong, age 98 of Hiawassee, GA, passed away Friday, May 25, 2007.
Mrs. Berrong was born Friday, November 20, 1908 in Towns County, Georgia to the late Warren H. Hedden and the late Violet Virginia Hooper Hedden. She was a member of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church and was preceded in death by husband, Henry Arvel Berrong, brothers, Edd, Frank and Troy Hedden.
Survivors include: many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 27, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in Osborn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Russell Hedden, Larry Hedden, Barry Hedden, Josh Hedden, Ike Waldroup and Benny Barrett.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-3, Sunday, May 27.
The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
