Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Mabel "Polly" Kile, age 93, of Hiawassee, Georgia, who passed away on April 30th, 2021.
Mrs. Kile was born on July 15th, 1927 in Dalton, Georgia, to the late Jerry Cleveland and Emma (Rudolph) Crow. "Polly" had been a resident of Towns County since moving from Atlanta in 1988. She attended Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Kile, Sr.; her daughter, Helen Christian; daughter-in-law, Connie Kile; Siblings: Chestley Crow, Randy Crow, Tom Crow, Jerry Crow, Elizabeth Watkins, Catherine Sumner, and Doris Kirby.
Surviving family members include her daughter and son in law: Jerri & Mike Cooper of Dalton, GA; Son, A.C. Kile, Jr. of Oxford, GA; son in law, Stan Christian; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; special friends, Sharon Miller, Jean and Richard Winkles.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday May 5th, 2021 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee with Rev. Mike Hardy officiating. Interment will follow in the Laurel Hills Memory Gardens with Paul Bell, Duane Chatelain, Kevin Cooper, Ronnie Christian, Spence Kile, and Steven Kile, all serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm noon until the service hour of 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Towns County Senior Center, 954 North Main Street, Hiawassee, Georgia 30546; or to the American Lung Association in memory of Mrs. Kile.
