Lynn Patrice Johnson

Lynn Patrice Johnson, age 59, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10th, 2013, at 0100, at Clay County Care Center, Hayesville, North Carolina, after an extended illness.

Lynn was born December 29, 1953, in New London, Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Virginia Schulz Johnson, and of Clarence "Bud" Johnson, of Hiawassee, Georgia. Lynn also was preceded in death by a brother, Scott William Johnson. She leaves behind a sister, Marilyn Johnson Sardella of Palm Bay, Florida; and a Christian Sister, Barbara Morris, of Hiawassee, Georgia.

Lynn Johnson was a retired Intensive Care Unit Nurse, who had dedicated her working life to helping people during her career at a Hollywood, Florida hospital. She was a graduate of School of Nursing at Palm Beach, Florida, and Duke University in North Carolina. She was of a Christian faith, and was baptized at a young age.

Lynn loved her cats and dogs, the beaches, ocean water, and the country lifestyle.

She was loved and will be missed greatly by her family.

Burial at Woods Grove Cemetery in Young Harris, Georgia, and memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 11:00 with Rev. Scott Sims of Woods Grove Baptist Church officiating. The eulogy will be given by Lynn's dad, Bud Johnson.

Any and all memorial donations are requested to be given to the American Cancer Society, and would be deeply appreciated.
