Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces the death and graveside services for Mrs. Lucille Sara Gribble Mull, age 97, of Hiawassee, who passed away on Friday, January 22nd, 2021 at her home.
Mrs. Mull was a daughter of the late Ralph Shelby Gribble and the late Georgia Ledford Gribble. She had lived in the Hiawassee area for the past 95 years, and was a member of Lower Bell Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mull had been preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mull, who died in 1995; a brother, Earl Gribble, and a sister, Edith Mull. Lucille and her sister Edith ran the Quilting Bee at the Georgia Mountain Fair for many years. She was a devoted Christian and is now home with her Savior.
Family members that will treasure her memory are: daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Bill Kuykendall, of Hiawassee; daughter, Janie Blythe, also of Hiawassee; grandchildren: Perry Kuykendall, Kim K. Phillips, Leslie B. McCroskey and Candice B. Thompson; great grandchildren: Austin, Savanah, Tristin, Ava, Ellery, Jack and Coen. She leaves behind other family members and friends.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the family will be having a private service.
