Lucille Elizabeth Ledford (Clore)

Lucille Elizabeth Ledford, age 87 of Ducktown, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Ledford was born July 18, 1925 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Robert Clore and the late Ruby Helton Clore. She was a member of Mine City Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She enjoyed attending Ducktown Senior Citizen Circle. she was preceded in death by husband, William (Bill) C. Ledford in 2006.

Survivors include: son, Tom (Zenobia) Ledford, daughter, Elizabeth Ann Crisp, daughter, Patricia (Lt. Col. Harry) Wise, son, Rodney Ledford, son, William Timothy(Barbara) Ledford, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services: Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012 1:00PM at Finch Cochran Funeral home with the Rev. Roy Clore and Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
