Luanne Sullivan

Luanne Sullivan, age 68, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, in McCaysville, GA . Ms. Sullivan was born January 3, 1953, in Ducktown, TN, to the late Robert H. Sullivan and Dorothy Jean Kisselburg Sullivan. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Copperhill. Luanne worked at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga as a coder in medical records. She enjoyed the challenge of the job and working with the people there. Ms. Sullivan retired from Memorial Hospital after 25 years of service. She enjoyed watching college football and her University of Georgia Bulldogs.
Luanne had a long battle with stage 4 cancer. She loved animals, and while recuperating, she enjoyed sitting by the window watching birds and squirrels. During her time with cancer, she focused more on people with needs and what she could do for others. Ms. Sullivan was very much a people-person, putting other people's needs above her own. She was always willing to help family members and friends.

Survivors include her mother Dorothy Jean Kisselbug Sullivan, brother Patrick Sullivan, and numerous cousins.

Graveside services: Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 3:00 pm at the Crestlawn Cemetery with Pastor Buddy Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Saturday, August 7, 2021, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm.
