Loys Tasker Waters

Mr. Loys Waters, age 85 of Morganton, passed away November 13, 2012 at Brasstown Manor. Mr. Waters was born in Morganton, Georgia to Tasker Waters and Lillian Voyles Waters. A member of New Mt.Gilead Church, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mazie Waters, brother, Robert Waters, sister in law, Edith Waters.

Survivors include: son and daughter in law, Lanier and Millie Waters, grandchildren; Chris (Sonja) Waters, Carrie Waters, great grandchildren; Rylee Waters & Reese Waters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Baugh and Rev. Brian Clayton officiating. Music by the Caylor Family. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by N. Georgia Honor Guard. Requested Pallbearers are: Randy Hunter, Russell Hunter, Richard Craig, Ronnie Young, Ricky Burgess & Rex Burgess. Honorary pallbearers will be; Randall Hunter, Pauline Hunter Craig, Joyce Waters, & Joan Drobinski.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, Thursday, November 15th from 5:00-9:00pm & on Friday, November 16th from 6:00-9:00pm.

In lieu of flowers family has requested donations be made in honor of Loys Waters to the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter, 855 Abutment Road, Suite 6, Dalton, Georgia 30721.
