Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mrs. Louise Sullivan Kelley, age 83, of Blairsville, who passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Union County Nursing Home in Blairsville.
Louise was born in Blairsville in 1933, a daughter of the late Francis G. Sullivan and the late Alice M. Souther Sullivan. A native of Blairsville, she lived in Atlanta for 25 years before moving back to Blairsville in 1977. During the time before her children were born, Louise had worked in banking. She was a very dedicated wife and mother, and enjoyed word search puzzles and her cats. Louise was known as an excellent cook and baker, making especially delicious pound cakes. Louise was a member of Blairsville Church of Christ. Preceding her in death was her husband, Neal; sisters: Eunice Swinson, Marjorie McCurley, and Virginia Reynolds; brothers: Uary Sullivan, Ray Sullivan, and Harold Sullivan.
Surviving family members are her children: Lisa Kelley and Brian Kelley, both of Blairsville; sister-in-law, Eloise Kelley, of McDonough, Georgia; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
No services have been planned at this time. If you wish, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation.
