Louise Baugh Kennedy

Mrs. Louise Elizabeth Baugh Kennedy, age 90, of McCaysville passed away Friday, July 1, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Kennedy was born March 30, 1926, to the late Earnest Andrew and Julia Mae Turner Baugh.
She was a member from her youth of McCaysville United Methodist Church, and was a nurse cadet in 1944-1947 during WWII. She studied nursing at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, then worked at the Old Tennessee Hospital in Copperhill until its closing. She continued her nursing career as an Industrial Nurse at Dupont in Chattanooga until her retirement.
After the death of her husband, Louise returned back home to McCaysville to be with her family. She was cherished by her family and friends and will be missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her father; Earnest Andrew Baugh, mother; Julia Mae Turner Baugh, husband; William G. Kennedy, sister; Margery Baugh, brothers; Steven "Buddy" Baugh and Jerry Baugh, sister-in-law; Sue Baugh.

Survivors include: nieces; Susan "Richard" Akins and Cindy "Jerry" Bryant, nephews; Rev. Scott "Celeaste" Baugh, Charlie "Kristy" Baugh, Fritz "Buffy" Baugh, eleven great nieces, nephews and many great great nieces and nephews, and a special cousin who also was like a sister; Dot Reece.

Funeral services: Sunday, July 3, 2016, at 2:00PM from the Finch Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. with the Rev. Scott Baugh and Rev. Larry Russell officiating. Music provided by Micah Baugh, Kimberly Baugh, and the McCaysville Tabernacle Choir: Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park, Blue Ridge, GA. Pallbearers: Jake Akin, Austin Bryant, Nathan Baugh, Caleb Baugh, Johnathan Berrier, and Micah Baugh. Honorary pallbearers: Ronnie Reece, Larry Wehunt, Gerald Dockery, William Dockery, Buck Cook, Wesley Richardson, Johnny Harris, Jimmy Harris, Marvin Poole, and Howard Richard..

The family will receive friends at the Finch Cochran Funeral Home Saturday evening 5 till 9 PM .
