Loretta Nari Ware, age 80, of McCaysville, GA, passed away September 13, 2011, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. She was born in McCaysville to the late Anthony Nari and the late Eva Carver Nari. Loretta was an active member of Williamstown United Methodist Church.
Loretta is survived by her loving husband H.G. “Tommy” Ware; son and daughter-in-law Hugh and Vickie Ware of Acworth, GA; daughter Jill Ware Miracle and her husband, John of Rutherfordton, NC; and her sisters Anna Lee Stepp of Blue Ridge, GA and Evelyn Sisson of Isabella, TN.
Loretta leaves behind granddaughter Tracey Fears and her husband USMC Master Sergeant Eric Fears, their children Cole and Marcella Fears, and granddaughters Kristen and Kaysie Miracle.
Besides her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her brother, Leonard “Sonny” Nari, and sisters, Mattie Lou Gobble, Hilda Matthews and Eileen Richards.
Loretta was a devoted wife and mother. For many years, she delighted in preparing meals for the Lions and Kiwanis clubs. Later, she enjoyed working at Tallent Drug Company in Copperhill, TN, for over twenty years.
Visitation will be at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home from 6 to 9pm Thursday evening, September 15th. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 16 at 2pm, followed immediately by interment at Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Reverend Carl Ware, Jr., Reverence Lori Etheridge, and Reverend Leslie Daniels will officiate.
Pallbearers are Dirk Arp, Ed Branham, George Dillard, Kerry Hicks, Rick Nari, and Van Quinn. Honorary pallbearers include Buddy Finch, Leonard Parris, Brownie Pittman, Max Pittman, Tommy Quintrell and the men of Williamstown UMC.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorial gifts be made to Williamstown United Methodist Church - Building Fund, 37 Willliamstown Road, Mineral Bluff, GA 30559.
