Lorene Thelma Taylor (Biggs)

Mrs. Lorene Thelma Taylor, age 96, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Westbury Medical Care Home in Jackson, GA. Mrs. Taylor was born January 31, 1915 in Kaufman County TX , to Mr. Lake Biggs & Mrs. Ora Wentworth Biggs. Lorene was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Taylor, Sr., her parents, and children, Hoyt H. Taylor, Jr. and Truedicie Moore.

Survivors include: Three sons, Maxi Taylor, Sr., Larry Taylor, and Douglas Taylor; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services: 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 26, 2011at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Taylor officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Taylor, Jr., Bryan Taylor, Shawn Taylor, Bill Bandy, B. J. Taylor and Maxi Taylor, Jr. Interment will following in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Copperhill, TN.
The family will visit with friends Friday evening from 6:00 pm until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
