Lorene P. Woody

Lorene P. Woody, age 93 of Blue Ridge, passed away July 13, 2018 in Jasper, GA. Mrs. Woody was born November 1, 1924 in Dial, GA to the late J. H. Fox and the late Josie Thurman Fox. Lorene was a member of the Dial Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Woody.

Survivors include sons, Ron Woody, Raleigh (Judy) Woody, grandchildren, Kim Curry, Tony Thompson, and Kathy Brown, great-grandchildren, Taylor Curry and Hunter Curry and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Minister Bobby Bearden officiating. Interment will follow in the Woody Family Cemetery. Pallbearers: Lane Eaton, Steve Tipton, Merle Long, Mike Cox, Tony Thompson, and Jerry Whitehead.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
