Lois Knox

Lois Anne Knox, 88, of Young Harris, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at Stonehenge Assisted Living in Blairsville, GA. Lois was born January 12, 1934, in Goshen, NY to Harold and Hazel Tice.

Lois was preceded in death by her husbands, William Miller of Walden NY in 1995 & Joseph Knox of Fort Smith AR in 2008 and son Bradley Blake of Lavaca AR.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle Miller of Young Harris GA, stepson Louis Miller of Freehold NJ and half-sister Cheryl Matazsewski of Conway SC. She has 5 grandkids and 9 great-grandchildren.

Lois enjoyed music, loved to dance and dedicated her earlier years performing in her church choir, often-time doing solo's and duets with her extraordinary singing voice. Her church family was her second family. She also loved to travel, always excited to meet up with friends and family and explore different cultures and landscapes. She had a quick-wit and loved to laugh. Her sweet demeanor and acts of kindness touched so many lives. In her later years she enjoyed reading, listening to music, spending time with her daughter's family and playing her favorite card game Skip-Bo.
