Mrs. Lois Hawkins, age 70 of Mineral Bluff, Ga, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Hawkins was born Sunday, January 9, 1938 in Fannin County, Ga to the late Harvey W. Gibson and the late Mamie Rose Gibson.

Survivors include: husband, Charles E. Hawkins, daughter & son-in-law, Sue and Jack Bryson, daughter & son-in-law, Sherry & Mitchell Hicks, daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Phillip Thomas, daughter & son-in-law, Doris & Scott Graves, son & daughter-in-law, Ed & Betty Hawkins, daughter & son-in-law, Tammy & Bobby Joe Shields, son & daughter-in-law, Tim & Dana Hawkins, son & daughter-in-law, Mike & Dana Hawkins, son & daughter-in-law, Denny & Amy Hawkins, daughter & son-in-law, Dale & Joseph Mathis, daughter & son-in-law, Laura & Christopher Deal, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Hooper officiating. Music will be provided by the Caylor Family. Interment will follow in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Grandsons and nephew David Hawkins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 pm Sunday, April 27th.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the ALS Association of Georgia, Inc. 1966 Cliff Valley Way, Ste 116, Atlanta, GA 30329.
