Linda Wren

Linda Wren went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2010at her home. Born on April 15, 1948 in Wisconsin, she was retired from Roche Daignostics Corporation in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Teas from the Heart, and Clay County Master Gardeners. She is survived by her husband, Henry Wren of Hayesville; two sons: Phillip Gray of Hong Kong and Justin Gray of Indianapolis. She is also survived by two step-children, Julie Rockwood and Brian Wren of Indianapolis and five siblings: Alice Romick of West Virginia, James Stirmel, Merry Strand, and Dan Stirmel of Wisconsin, and Helen Laack of Minnesota.

Memorial services will be held at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 50 Marvin Cabe Lane, Hayesville and will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 4, 2010, with Rev. Jim Payne officiating.
A lunch will follow in the fellowship hall.

Memorial services will also be held at Castleton UMC, located at 71st Street and Shadeland, in Indianapolis. Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.


It is requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund.
