Linda Webb, beloved wife, daughter, mother, aunt, and friend, passed away Wednesday evening, January 9, 2019. She died peacefully, surrounded by her family.
Linda loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, a conservationist, and co-founder of the Greater Atlanta Safari Club. She enjoyed volunteering at a local, non-profit Thrift store. She also loved to travel all around the world, and was a natural nurturer to those around her. Linda was a loyal friend and never betrayed a confidence. Her life mantra was "You're only as good as your word."
Linda was born on August 14, 1946. Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John E. Webb, parents, Homer and Sarah Davis Gray, and brother, William Gray, she is survived by daughter, Betsy (Chris) Hofflin of Tampa, Florida, niece, Sherry Gray Browning of Dahlonega, nephew, Michael Gray of Blue Ridge, niece, Sharee (Eric) Gibson of Orlando, Florida, nephew, Shannon (Tina) Gray of Blue Ridge, great nephew, Jacob Gray, of Blue Ridge, great nephew, Brandon Gibson and great niece, Alicia Gibson.
A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 13 at Chastain Memorial Park with Reverend Ron Wikander officiating with eulogies delivered by Randy Durden and Dr. Hank Zachary. Pallbearers will be Paul Nickelson, Steve Holland, Shannon Gray, Jacob Gray, Waymond Hamilton, and Anthony Powell. Honorary pallbearers will be Martin Bundschu, Brian Huffman, Dr. Hank Zachary, and Zackary Taylor.
