Linda Maxine Kirkland

Mrs. Linda Maxine Kirkland, age 59 of Jasper, passed away August 27, 2014 at the Tranquility Hospice Facility in Marietta. Mrs. Kirkland was born July 23, 1955 in Copper Hill, TN to the late John Willard Ash Sr. and the late Abby Elizabeth Ross Ash. She was Baptist in faith and she attended the Salem Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she loved shopping at thrift stores.

Survivors include loving husband, Michael Kirkland, daughter, Mekesha Call, son, Joseph Hedden, daughter, Jessica (David) Riffe, sister, Annabell Green, brother, John Ash Jr., brother, Bobby Ash, brother, Cecil Ash, grandchildren, Victoria Mashburn, Elijah Hedden, Cassie Hedden, and Nichole Cox.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Max Pittman, Sr. officiating. Music provided by the Caylor Family Singers. Interment will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Steven Cox, Robert Cody, Adam Sugg, Jason Kirkland, Austin Kirkland, and Coley Prittchett.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
