Mrs. Linda Mae Foster, daughter of the late Mr. William Clyde Suit and Mrs. Lois Nell Suit, was born on January 12, 1945, in Copperhill Tennessee. Linda attended and was a graduate of the 1963 class at West Fannin High School in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Mrs. Foster is the sister of the late Mr. Buster Suit, the late Mr. William "Buddy" Suit, and the late Mr. Billy Suit. She was also a beloved and cherished sister and best friend to Patsy Suit Ledford, and to Barbara Suit Ledford.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Jack Delano Foster. This union was blessed with three children, Mrs. Rhonda Melissa Foster Kreutzman, born September 11, 1966, Miss Christie Lee Foster, and Mr. Christopher Alexander Foster, born September 25, 1973. Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jack Delano Foster, and daughter, Christie Lee Foster.
Mrs. Foster was an active member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dawsonville, Georgia. She was also a committed volunteer with Hightower Baptist Association Food and Clothing bank in Forsyth County. She was a fervent server for Christ in every area of her life, including her time with her grandchildren, Josten Taylor Kreutzman, born May 22, 1992; Delano Alexander Foster, born July 25, 2002; Annabelle Leigh Foster, born September 24, 2005; and Ansley Claire Foster, born May 31, 2007.
Mrs. Foster touched everyone that knew her with pure humility, patience, and love. As her Savior Jesus Christ, she reflected His love and gave to others generously, joyfully, and unyieldingly. So many people and times were dear to her heart: time with her grandchildren and watching them grow in the way of our Lord; upholding her children Melissa and Chris in their life journeys of joys and obstacles, attending her church, compelled to be in the midst of other believers that she will see again; and simply having fun. Mrs. Foster brightened each God-given day she could with her best friend and sister Patsy Ledford, with multiple Caribbean and gospel cruises, camping, hiking, and just sitting in tears of laughter and love.
Linda Foster will forever be cherished in the lives of all her family members: her siblings, children, grandchildren, friends, nieces and nephews, cousins, and of all those who stood alongside Mrs. Foster in her daily walk in her Christian faith.
