Lillie Mae Patterson

Lillie Mae Patterson, age 80, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Lillie was born December 7, 1941, in Blue Ridge, GA to Earnest and Daisy McFarland.  

Lillie was preceded in death by her father, Earnest McFarland; mother, Daisy Arp McFarland; sister-in-law, Alice McFarland; and sister-in-law, Marilyn McFarland. 

She is survived by her children, including son, Rodney Patterson; daughter, Deborah (Brian) Prasnicki; brothers, Robert (Lois) McFarland, Thomas McFarland, and Donald (Patty) McFarland; grandchildren, Amanda (Johnny) Ashton, Abigail Ashton, Abel Ashton, Amelia Ashton, Heather (Nick) Petrangelo, Nicholas Petrangelo, Lillie Petrangelo, and Joseph Petrangelo; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church where she accepeted Jesus Christ as her savior at the age of 15.  Lillie loved painting, gardening, shopping, traveling to visit family, cooking, and watching movies. She truly enjoyed sitting on her big wrap around porch and drinking her coffee. Her favorite colors were red and pink. 

Funeral Service: Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 3:00 pm from the Harmony Baptist Church in Blue Ridge, GA with Pastor Michael Pope officiating. 

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Johnny Ashton, Shannon Wilson, Mickey Bryant, Robbie McFarland, Mason Mann, and Zach Wehunt.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home in Blue Ridge, GA on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
