Lillian Mary Witzel

Miss Lillian Mary Witzel, age 99 of McCaysville, GA passed away June 12, 2014 at Life Care Center of Copper Basin. Miss Witzel was born May 7, 1915 in Higdon Store, GA to the late James Everett Witzel and the late Effie Foster Witzel . The oldest member of Colwell Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by Father, James Everett Witzel, mother, Effie Witzel, sister, Dorothy Davenport, brother, Clyde A. Witzel, and sister, Jan Jones.

Survivors include: sister: Virginia (Boyd) Bailey, neice, M. Diane Bailey, neice, Connie (Gary) Fox, nephew, Steve (Kathy) Davenport, nephew, Michael Jones.

Funeral services: Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Music provided by: Martha Kreis. Interment will follow in Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Wesley Chastain, Chris Foster, Keith Ritchie, Max Housley and Gerald Williamson. Honorary pallbearers: Guinn Williamson and Chuck Foster.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of , Friday, June 13, 2014, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
