Lillian Lucile King, age 84, of Marble, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021, at Erlanger Medical Center. Mrs. King was born December 1, 1936, in Barwick, GA to the late Horace Nelson Waldrep and the late Lucile Wood Waldrep. After moving from Thomasville, GA, Lillian made her home in Marble for the past 16 years. She enjoyed visits from family, fishing, gardening, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and word puzzles. She was preceded in death by her father, Horace Nelson Waldrep, mother, Lucile Waldrep, husband, John Lee (Bud) King, Jr., and son, Johnny Nelson (Bubba) King.
Survivors include her significant other, Wayburn B. Moore, her children, James Larry (Jamie) King, John Robert (Deann) King, and Sharon (Greg) Thweatt, her daughter-in-law, Shelia King, brother, Walter (Sandra) Waldrep, niece, Kim Waldrep, grandchildren, Jennifer (Chuck) Lester, Billy King, Jessica (Jason) Barton, Wesley King, Sterlin King, Matt (Ashley) Burgess, Cole (Leigh Ann) Burgess, Anna (David) Amiss, and Lee (Mandy) King, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
