Lewis D. Hanna, age 78, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away on March 26, 2025, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia. Born on March 31, 1946, in Rainelle, West Virginia. Lewis was known for his dedication and hard work in the construction industry.
Lewis cherished his family deeply and leaves behind his beloved spouse, Virginia Hanna; his son, Josh (Jessyca) Hanna; his grandchildren, Matthew Hanna, Dixie Hanna, and Delsy Hanna; and his mother, Delcie Hanna. He is also survived by his sister, Rhonda (Warren) Trout. His love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A member of Crossroads Life Baptist Church in Canton, Georgia, Lewis demonstrated his strong values through his faith throughout his life.
Funeral services will be held in his honor on March 29, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Salem #2 Baptist Church in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, with Brother Charles Ray officiating.
Visitation will take place at the church from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Salem #2 Baptist Church cemetery. The family invites all who knew Lewis to attend the services and celebrate a life filled with love, hard work, and faith. His memory will remain in the hearts of many, serving as a testament to the wonderful legacy he leaves behind. Lewis was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Hanna, and sons James Hanna and Roger Hanna.
