Leroy Brown

Leroy Brown, age 75 of McCaysville, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at his home. Mr. Brown was born February 22, 1940 in Harlan County, KY to the late Richard Brown and the late Elsie Davis Brown. Mr. Brown retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and the companionship of his dog. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Elsie Brown, his wife Hazel Mae Brown, and his brother Art Brown.

Survivors include: His beloved dog Sandy Brown, brother Fred Brown, sister Tiny Brown, brother Ron (Ruth) Brown, and his children Aaron (Evelyn) Broughton, Robert (Jeannie) Broughton, Eddy Broughton, Randy (Kathie) Broughton, Stella (Bob) Carson, and Ronnie (Emmi) Brown.

Funeral services: Friday, February 5, 2016 at 3:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Calvin Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Friday, February 5, 2016, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
