April 2, 1935 — March 24, 2021

Lenora Sue Cross, age 85, of Commerce, formerly of Ducktown, TN passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at North East Georgia Medical Center in Braselton, GA . Mrs. Cross was born April 2, 1935, in Andrews, NC to the late James Martin Brown and the late Mae Bell Kelly Brown. She was a member of the Newtown House of Prayer. Lenora enjoyed reading, watching TV, and working on Wordsearch puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Cross, father, James Martin Brown, mother, Mae Bell Kelly Brown, son, Oscar Cross, grandson, Brandon Cross, and sister, Janie Cantrell.

Survivors include her daughter, Retha (Mugs) Queen, sister, Mary Carolyn Martin, brothers, Robert (Donna) M. Brown, William (Darlene) Ernest Brown, and John (Linda) C. Brown, grandchildren, Kayla Neal, Rodney Kendall, and Calvin Kendall, 8 great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services: Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 3:00 pm from Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 1, 2021, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, GA.
