Leila Mae Shope Trull

Mrs. Leila Mae Shope Trull, age 98, of Blairsville, GA, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Union County Nursing Home.
Born on August 26, 1908, in Candler, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Terrell and Jenny Shope and was also preceeded in death by her first husband, Otis B. Trull, and by her second husband, Rev. William H. Pless. She was a member of Blairsville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: a son, Owen Trull of Blairsville; step-daughter, Rose Case of Arden, NC; sister, Dorothy Cooper of Randleman, NC; brother, Wayne Shope of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren, Mark Trull of Fayetville, GA and Keith Trull of Blairsville and three great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home of Asheville, NC with Rev. G.W. Jameson officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Groce funeral home one hour prior to the service.
