Lawrence Charles "Bud" Ware

Mr. Lawrence Charles "Bud" Ware, age 72 of Hayesville, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at his home. Mr. Ware was born February 22, 1943 in Cherokee Co., NC to the late Lake Charles Ware and the late Edna Dye Ware. He was a member of Bear Paw Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Crowder, and Ruth White and one brother, Colon Ware. In his spare time, he enjoyed mowing and taking care of his lawn. He also liked to sit on his porch and watch the birds.

Survivors include loving wife, Anna Lou Ware; son, Ray Ware & wife Michelle; daughter, Angie Ware Hogan & husband Gary; five sisters, Catherine Wiggins & husband Doug, Janice Johnson & husband David, Diane White, Debra Hughes & husband Manson and Sherry Burrell & husband Dennis; three brothers, Dean Ware & wife Becky, Robert Ware & wife Deborah, and Ronald Ware & wife Juanita; two granddaughters, Cristy Hogan and Ashley Ware.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy with the Rev. Dallas Crowder, Rev. Steve Ware, and Rev. Ronnie Crisp officiating. Music provided by Charlie and Lanai Cheeks. Interment will follow in the Fires Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Gary Hogan, Daniel Anderson, Jimmy Annies, Ricky Ashley, Zach Miller, and Mike McCray. Honorary pallbearers are Everett McCray and Curtis Tucker.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 18, 2015, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
