Latane "Jane" Moss Youngblood

Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces the death and funeral services for Mrs. Latane "Jane" Moss Youngblood, age 80, of Hiawassee, who passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Youngblood was born in Hiawassee, a daughter of the late Clarence and the late Kate Moss. Besides her parents, Mrs. Youngblood was also preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Moss. She was a member of Bell Scene Baptist Church in Hiawassee, and also attended Friendship Baptist Church.

Surviving family members include her husband, Gene; a daughter, Gina Youngblood; two sisters: Lillian Mull and LaVonda Peevy; two brothers: Zearl Moss (Nell) and Lanier "Bud" Moss; two Godchildren: Lance Folkerts and Brett Rushing also survive, along with other friends and relatives.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Wednesday, May 12th, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee. Preachers officiating are Chad Plemmons, Kevin Moss and Gary Moss. Burial will be in Bell Scene Cemetery, with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Lance Folkerts, Greg Moss, Jonathan Mull, Eddie Moss, Tim Burch, and Anderson Sutton. The family will meet with friends on the same day of the service, Wednesday, May 12th, beginning at 12 noon and will last until time for the service to begin.
