Larry Wayne Hook

Larry Wayne Hook, age 74, of Murphy, passed away February 12, 2019, at his home. Mr. Hook was born December 19, 1944, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Clarence James Hook and the late Anna Luliak Hook. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of McCaysville, a member of the Blue Ridge Gideon Camp, and was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam era. Mr. Hook enjoyed 4 wheeling and guns. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence James Hook, mother, Anna Hook, and wife, Sandra Lee Hook.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Hook, daughter, Erin (Ronnie) Yarbro, son, Jason (Cortney) Hook, brother, Donald Hook, sister, Beverly Burris, grandchildren, Tiffanie Johnson, Kenton Braswell, Alexandria Hook, Addison Hook, Myra Hook, Cruz Yarbro, Kenzly Yarbro, Cierra Yarbro, Jerzee Beach, Gracie Garren, Tristian Padgett, great-grandchildren, Harper, Clayton, and Rae Lynn Thomas.

Funeral services: Friday, February 15, 2019, at 7:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew Mc Daniel officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Friday evening, February 15, 2019, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
