Larry L. Sweet

Larry Leeroy Sweet, of Blue Ridge Georgia went to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 29th, 2016. Larry was born on March 7th, 1950 in Fonde, Kentucky to parents Earl Leroy Sweet and Vergie Beatrice (McCulley) Sweet. Larry is survived by his wife Karen A. (Dodd) Sweet, his children Dawn M. (Sweet) Hernandez & husband Juan, Christine L. (Sweet) Anthony & husband John, Shannon L. Wiley & wife Daphne, Mindy E. Wiley and his grandchildren Madonna, Angela, Matthew, Torri, Hailey, Casey, Joshua, Madison, Hanna, Dylan, Maria, Tyler, Tyrese and great grandchildren Lyric, Brenden, Adilyn and Melody. He is also survived by his 2 sisters Wanda Pine and Sheila Parsons. Larry was predeceased by his children Larry L. Sweet and Roseanne M. Sweet. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was awarded many metals including 2 purple hearts. A unique soul, Larry was very funny and loved nothing more than making people laugh. He will be greatly missed. Larry will be laid to rest at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton Georgia with full military honors. Memorial donations may be made in Larry's name to:
