Larry Junior King

Mr. Larry King, age 72, passed away on February 24, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

 Larry was born in Blairsville, GA on July 11th, 1951 to J.B. King and Betty Lou Anderson King. 

A proud patriot, Mr. King served his country in the United States Army. He obtained the rank of sergeant.

 He was preceded in death by his father, J.B. King; brother-in-law, Royce Brown; and sister-in-law, Tammy King.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Cathy V. King; mother, Betty Lou King; his daughter, Carla (James) Raines; son, Jim (Jessica) King; sisters, Gail (Kenny) Smart, Patricia (Doffie) Young, Brenda Brown, Nancy (Doug) Hughes, Tammy (Steve) Helton; brother, Raymond King; and his  grandchildren, Kayla (Josiah) Sims, Patrick Raines, Natasha Raines, Sara King, Amy King; and great-grandchildren, Lainey Sims and Ada Sims.

 Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville. 

 Services for Mr. Larry King will be held on Wednesday, February 28th, at 11:00 am at Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Dan Wilkins and Rev. Kenny Beavers officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Blairsville.
