Kevin Richard Hawkins

Mr. Kevin Richard Hawkins, age 32, of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Union General Hospital. Mr. Hawkins was born April 21, 1983, in Copperhill, TN., was a lifelong resident of Fannin County, and a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mud bogging with trucks. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Atley and Elizabeth Hawkins, maternal grandparents, Ronald and Leona Hensley, sister, Jill Hawkins, nephew, Joshua Cameron Holloway.

Survivors include: wife, Holly Hedgecook Hawkins, father, Ben Hawkins, mother, Ruth Hensley Hawkins, children, Alexa Hawkins and Elijah Hawkins, sisters, Melissa (Phillip) Barker, (twin) Misty Ross, Angie (Mike) Holloway, Rebecca (Kenny) Payne and Robin (Drew) Clippard, parents-in-law, Wayne (Sherry) Hedgecock, brother-in-law, Lucas Hedgecock, grandmother-in-law, Patsy Hedgecock.

Funeral services: Thursday, October 22, 2015, at 4:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Denny Hawkins and Rev. Herman Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Hensley Family Cemetery. Pallbearers: Zachary Brown, Dillon Long, Charlie Helton, Kenny Payne, Jamie Hensley,and Brian Ross. Honorary Pallbearers, T.J. Fair, Gary Holloway, Dylan Holloway, Ethan Ross, Cameron Ross, Lucas Hedgecock, Phillip Baker, Mike Holloway, Bob Hawkins, LeRoy Hawkins, Dee McClure, Mathew McClure, Randy Hensley and Blake Matz.
Interment will follow in the Hensley Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, October 21, 2015, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
