Kenneth Frank Moss, age 67, of Hiawassee, GA passed away December 31, 2009 at Murphy Medical Center in Murphy, North Carolina.
Kenneth was born on November 7, 1942 in Towns Co, GA. He was a member of Bell Scene Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Carl V. Moss.
Survivors include: wife, Rosie Taylor Moss of Hiawassee, GA; mother, Zelpha Gribble Moss of Hiawassee, GA; sons & daughters-in-law, K. Keith and Heather Moss of Hiawassee, GA and Shannon and Stephanie Moss of Hiawassee, GA;sisters, Cathaleen Martin of Canton, OH, Kay Long of Hayesville, NC and Karen Swanson of Hayesville, NC; brothers, Guy Moss of Hiawassee, GA, Kyle Moss of Blairsville, GA and Gary Moss of Hayesville, NC;grandchildren, Whitney Moss, Cooper Moss, Hunter Moss and Kolby Moss; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Bell Scene Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Alexander and Rev. Gary Moss officiataing. Music will be provided by The Gary Moss Family, Eagle Mountain Quartet and the Moss Quartet. Pallbearers will be Justin Robert Moss, Daniel Moss, Jack Moss, Anthony Taylor, Jeff Cook, Mike Kelley, Mike Martin, Larry Swanson and. Honorary Pallbearer will be Dwight Long, Jack Bradshaw, E.J. Garrett, Robbie Moss, Kevin Cook, Justin Moss, Brad Foxworth and Darrell Dockery. Burial will follow in Bell Scene Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
