Mr. Kenneth Lee Hyde, age 66, of Morganton, GA, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mr. Hyde was born Friday, November 21, 1941 in Fannin County, GA to the late Willie Hyde and the late Edith Mae Stewart Hyde. A member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, He was preceded in death by parents, Willie & Edith Hyde and brother, Cecil Hyde.
Survivors include: wife, Evelyn Hyde of Morganton, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Tressa and Gary Nicholson of Morganton, GA., Granddaughter, Kacy Brown of Morganton, GA., sister, Shirley Ditmore of Young Harris, GA, sister, Joyce norton of Young Harris, GA, sister-in-law,Frances Lee of Blue Ridge, GA.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 8/2/08 at 2:00 pm from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Reverend Luther Thomas, & Reverend J.D. Crawford officiating. Music will be provided by Joann McCord, Reverend Luther Thomas, and Sarakate Chapman. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Mark Ditmore, Rodney Norton, Roger Norton, David Ditmore, Charlie Cable, Michael Norton. Honorary pallbearers include: Harold Stewart and Louie Barton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 1, 2008 from 6 to 9 PM.
