Kathleen Elizabeth Culberson

Kathleen Elizabeth Culberson, age 79 of Morganton passed away June 2, 2015 from an extended illness. Mrs. Culberson was born November 8, 1935 in Blairsville, GA to the Late Willard and Lissie Nix. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Fred Agnew Culberson. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and she loved flowers.

Survivors Include: Son, Fred (Butch) Culberson, (Denise Postell Kendall); Son, Hollis Culberson; Son, James Roger Nix (Bonnie Colton); Son, Coy Nix Jr; Daughter, Holly Nix Swanson; Daughter, Joyce Morgan spouse Loyd Morgan; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Collis officiating. Interment will follow at the Shady Grove Baptist church Cemetery in Culberson, NC. The gentlemen serving as Pallbearers will be Matthew Swanson, Shane Nix, David Nix, and Michael Rich.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or you may make a donation to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
