Kathelena M. Jones (Welch)

Mrs. Kathelena Jones, age 80, of McCaysville, Georgia passed away April 23, 2012 at Life Care Center of Copper Basin. Mrs. Jones was born June 18, 1931 in Fannin County, GA to the late Haden Millsaps and Gladys Welch Millsaps. She was a member of McCaysville Church of Christ. Kathelena enjoyed travel, camping, fishing, flower garden and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by father, Haden Millsaps, mother, Gladys Welch Millsaps, and sister, Lorena Sosebee.

Survivors include: husband, Robert Jones; son, Ronnie (Frances) Bailey; daughter, Vicki (Winston) Rhodes; step sons, Minister Butch (Susan) Jones, Minister Rick (Cathy) Jones; sister, Wilma Jean Dixon; grandchildren, Mark (Natalie) Bailey, Amy (Christian) Blackburn, Doug Rhodes, Miranda (Josh) Chancey; great grandchildren, Jackson Bailey, Thomas Bailey, and Wil Bailey; Emma Blackburn, Bailey Blackburn, and Peyton Chancey; step grandchildren, Jenny (Derek) Thompson, Brandon (Wendy) Jones, Emily Jones, and Hanna Morris, step great grandchildren, Dasher Thompson, Ivy Thompson, Adelyn Jones, Brantley Jones, and Emma Claire Gray.

Funeral services: Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Minister Butch Jones and Minister Keith Ritchie officiating. Music will provide by the Congregational.. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bobby Loudermilk, Ken Johnson, Jerry Williams, Don Dilbeck, and Jimmy Ritchie. Honorary pallbearers: Wendall Patterson and Max Sisson

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 , from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm..
