June Dalton Hyde

Mrs. June Dalton Hyde, age 82, of McCaysville, passed away August 28, 2018, at the Blue Ridge Assisted Living Center. Mrs. Hyde was born June 4, 1936, in Copperhill, TN to the late Arthur Lane Dalton and Nettie Elizabeth Ratcliff Dalton. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a medical secretary for over 30 years, 15 of those years she was medical secretary for the Tennessee Copper Company. June owned and operated The Copper Emporium in Copperhill, she loved music and old movies and was a creative artist with her painting. In addition to her mother and father, Mrs. Hyde was preceded in death by husband, George Marvin Hyde.



Survivors include daughter, Robbi Callihan, daughter, Mandi (Scott) Papich, brother, Bill Dalton, sister, Amelia D. McClelland, granddaughter, Katie Erin Callihan White, grandson, Sean Bryson Callihan, step-granddaughter, Beth (Brent) Ware, step-great-grandson, Bryce Ware.



Funeral services: Thursday, August 30, 2018, at 4:00 pm from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew Mc Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery.



The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
