June A. West (Hunsucker)

June A. West, 79, passed away August 11, 2011 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN from a heart attack. She was the daughter of the late Norvel Hunsucker and Pearle Voyles Hunsucker. The sister of the late Terry Hunsucker and wife to the late Robert W. West.
June was born and raised here in North Carolina. She moved to Ohio with her late husband Robert to start Bob's Truck & Auto Repair. When they retired, they moved back to Murphy to take care of June's mother, Pearle Voyles Hunsucker.
She is survived by son, Robert R. West and wife Carolyn West and family of High Point, NC, daughter Pam Clayton and husband John Ray Clayton of Akron, OH, grandchildren Vanessa Flinn and husband Ryan Flinn and Jeff Clayton of Ohio, nephew Kyle Hunsucker of Murphy, NC and family, one great-grandchild, Clayton Flinn and close special friend LeRoy Coblentz.
Funeral services will take place Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Aud Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm before the service Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements entrusted to the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy. You may send condolences to the family and sign the guest registry at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
