Juanita Virginia Burton, age 85, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020, at the Pruitt Health Care in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Mrs. Burton was a former resident of Turtletown, TN. Juanita was a beautiful, amazing, and awesome stay-at-home mom raising six children. Juanita attended Harbor Ministries Church in McCaysville, Georgia, and enjoyed taking good care of her family. She enjoyed bingo in her free time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Burton, the love of her life, and a daughter, Anita Marie Burton Herriage. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Illmae (Enoch) Smith Skelton and brothers, Lawrence Smith, James (Billie) Smith, Raymond Smith, and Carl Smith all of Roanoke, VA. Juanita leaves behind to cherish her memory sons, John (Sharon), Burton of McAlister, OK; Robert Burton, Charlie Burton of Hanford, CA; Victor Burton of Lindsey, CA; and daughter, Charmagne (Jack) Burkett Jr. of Turtletown, TN. She is further survived by her son in law, Ed Herriage of Hanford, CA; sister-in-law, Kay Smith of Knoxville, TN; a sister, Joyce (Alan) Brassart of Laton, CA sister in law Shirley Burton and grandchildren, Jack (Maggie) Burkett III, Sabrina (Terry) Ross of McCaysville, GA. Rocky Alan (Kayleen) Burkett, Joshua (Deeann) Burkett of Mineral Bluff, GA. Edward Herriage of CA. Jenny (Rudy) Velasquez of Hanford, CA. Matthew (Misty) Burton, Erin (Jason) Holmes of Siloam Springs, AR. Angie Morgado of Sacremento, CA and David Earl Burtonof Texas. Twenty-nine Great Grandchildren and fourteen Great-Great- Grandchildren also survive.
