Juanita Benton Buice

The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces Memorial Services for Mrs. Juanita Benton Buice, age 88 of Dawsonville, formerly of Hiawassee, who passed away on Friday, June 13, 201 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Mrs. Buice was born April 23, 1926 in Banks County, Georgia to the late William Guy and Ruby Smith Benton. A member of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church of Hiawassee, she was preceded in death by her father, mother, 3 brothers, and 5 sisters.

Survivors include husband: Albert Buice, son: Benny (Janice) Brooks, daughter: Sheryl (Charlie) Fletcher, daughter: Joyce (John) Larrabee, son: Ed (Patricia) Buice, daughter-in-law: Rita Buice, son: Bob (Cheryl) Bennett, son: Chuck Vaughn, son: David (Teresa) Vaughn. Grandchildren are Jeff (Kathy) Brooks, Kenny (Tonya) Brooks, Robby Brooks, Shane (Tonnye) Fletcher, Randy (Marina) Fletcher, Kelli (Daniel) Bishop. 9 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Sisters, Elaine (Clifford) Beck, Carolyn (Ronnie) Gay, and brother: Steve Benton. She had many special nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Hiawassee.
