Joseph Andrew Adamski, age 63 of Hayesville, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. He was born Saturday, January 20, 1945 in Yonkers, NY to the late Joseph D. Adamski and the late Jane Yanowitz Adamski. He worked at Murphy Medical Center for twenty years as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists where he was always concerned with giving his patients the best care possible. In his free time, Joe enjoyed Traveling, Golfing, Scuba Diving and he always had a book or magazine in hand. Friends and family played an important role in his life.He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Andrew Adamski, Jr..

Survivors include: wife, Jackie Moore Adamski, daughter & son-in-law, Mary & Jimmy Gibbs of Leesville, LA, step-son, Travis Jones of Hayesville, sisters & brothers- in- law, Carol & Dave Speers of Lakewood, NJ, and Christine & Silverio Morales of Yonkers, NY, grandsons, David Adamski & wife Veronica of Cabot, AK, Joshua Gibbs of Leesville, LA, and Joseph Andrew Adamski III of Anacoco, LA, brothers- in- law, Darrel & Kim Moore of Blue Ridge, GA., Bobby & Charlene Moore of Andrews, NC., Barry & Jennifer Moore of Andrews, NC.. Nieces, Amberley, Sadie, and Kelsi Moore, and Anissa Caleca. Nephews, D. J. Speers, Carlos & Andrew Morales, Cody & Cameron Moore. Father in law, Eugene Moore of Andrews, NC..

Services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 5:00PM from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Touchton officiating. Military honors will be provided by local veteran organizations: Murphy VFW Post 10222, Joe Miller Elkin American Legion Post 96, DAV Chapter 73 and Clay County VFW Post 6812.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, June 14 from 4:00-5:00 PM.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy. You may send condolences to the family and sign the guest register at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
