Johnny Wayne Yonce

Mr. Johnny Wayne Yonce, age 60 of Andrews, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Mission Hospital in Asheville. Mr. Yonce was born July 1, 1957 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Ellis Yonce and the late Lillian Sue Gibby Yonce. A member of the Junaluska Baptist Church, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking in his spare time.

Survivors include wife, Julie Rhea Lunsford Yonce, son, Jason Yonce, two brothers, Robert (Regina) Yonce and Ronnie (Della) Yonce and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home in Peachtree. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Murphy Medical Center Scholarship Fund, Attn: Toni Lovingood, 3990 E. US Hwy. 64 Alt., Murphy, NC 28906.
