Johnathan David Ford

David Johnathan Ford - 1953-2012, of Warne, North Carolina, passed away suddenly after a short illness May 7, 2012. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, where his father and mother were stationed in the Navy. Dave was a great Guitarist and could play almost anything, entertaining many with his music and ballads. Rarely was David seen without his four legged friend Buster! He loved to cook almost as much as he loved the guitar! Dave had worked as a chef in many restaurants throughout the country before settling in North Carolina. He is survived by his longtime companion – Jennifer McKenzie – Hayesville, NC, daughter Katrina Worsham - Port St. Lucie, FL, Brother Dan Ford - Jupiter FL, Sisters Carol Ford Marok - Alpharetta GA, and Dr. Eileen Farwick - Windermere FL. David had many nieces and nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his brother Greg Ford , and his parents Seth and Alyce Ford - North Palm Beach, FL, and Hiawassee, GA. He is at peace now in heaven, bowling with Dad, or perhaps he's watching the car races with Brother Greg. And, we're sure that Mom is close by keeping an eye on all of them. An informal grave side memorial will be held at Laurel Hills Memory Gardens Cemetery, Hiawassee, GA - Friday 5/18/2012 at 2:00 pm.
