John Wright Belfower

Mr. John Wright Belflower, Jr. age 88 of McCaysville, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin. Mr. Belflower was born February 9, 1926 in Orange County, Florida. John lived in Lake County, Florida for over 70 years. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and then worked for Becon as a truck driver for 40 plus years. He was Baptist in faith. He enjoyed building model cars, solving puzzles and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Donna Howe, son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Theresa Howe, daughter, Brenda Howe, daughter, Susan Turner, son, John David Belflower, brother, Dan Belflower, sister, Louise Belflower, seven grandchildren, Sherry Howe, William Howe, Keith Utley, Lisa Pickelsimer, Kayla Howe, Harley Howe, and Curtis Turner, nine great-grandchildren, Chelsea Howe, Michael Martin, Bryce Martin, Brandon Howe, Whitney Howe, Alexis Howe, Logan Stanley, Bristol Pickelsimer, and Hayden Turner.
